Who's the Boss?

I'm assuming that when you are hired you work your hardest for your boss. It may just be because you want a good review and a raise or you genuinely respect your boss.

I am reading through Numbers now. You're right not the most exciting Biblical reading. God is handing out jobs to all the different people in each tribe. I guess you could say they were working directly for God. The bumper sticker God is my CEO was on the back of their donkey.

I began to recognize that God gives me roles and duties that He has hand selected that I will be the best at. I get caught up and ignore the things He has put in front of my eyeballs. Reality break for a moment. I need to compare how I work for a flesh and blood boss versus the all knowing God. I would say the scales are way tilted. I'm totally lopsided when I look at that one.

What I need to do:
1. Remind myself of what God has chosen for me and told me
2. Practice doing it until it becomes instantaneous.
3. Lather Rinse Repeat

Emergency Rooms

Yes, you read right. 3 emergency rooms, 2 full viewings of Failure to Launch, 7 hours, and one shot in my IV later and I was feeling much better from my first migraine. You get to see a lot of interesting characters in the ER. The first was when we walked into the 2nd ER and there was a guy on the floor. That should have been the first sign to turn around and leave. The other was when the creepy guy started talking to us or when everyone started shouting about the lady who passed out and fell on the ground. But by far the best was the guy covered in blood being led away in handcuffs. I always love an adventure. I got mine. I hope I never get a migraine again.
